First Mondays Networking night - December 2006
30th March 2009
Looking for business contacts in pharmaceutical industry? Looking for a trusted recruitment agency for your family or relatives with IT (information technology) skills who wish to work in the field and want to migrate in Australia? Or, simply looking to learn about the Philippines as your company ventured in the Philippine market?
The 21 attendees to our December First Mondays networking night got more than they bargain for. For free entry, they established contacts with various businesses such as Solo Pak Pty Ltd, a portion control chemicals company specialising in industry grade cleaning products that are expanding in the Asia (www.solopak.com.au) K Recruitment Solutions specialising in IT and Call Centre Consultants recruitment and looking at the Asian markets (www.krec.com.au) Aurora Pharmaceuticals Australia Pty Ltd (www.aurorapharma.com.au) CS Computer Solutions GAD Entreprises and many more.
People were also provided opportunity to promote their businesses or their community projects. Carl Singson introduced GK777 projects to the audience and there were good responses. Some businesses have asked Carl to give a presentation to their organisation.
Our December First Mondays’ sponsor API Leisure & Lifestyle presented their club membership package and benefits. API (www.apiaustralia.com.au) has over 80 years in enhancing the quality of life of its 100,000 members throughout Australia. Originally, the club membership was exclusive to Australia Post and Telstra staff.
API now extends services and benefits to individuals and organisations – saving them both time and money. “I was very impressed with the package and the benefits API is offering their members that signed up on the spot”, Connie da Cunha said. She could’nt wait to use her membership card to go shopping. “My husband Jorge and I frequently dine out to meet people for business meetings or socially so it will be a bonus to get some generous discounts at API restaurants”, Connie added. Participating hotels and resorts offer generous discounts (up to 50%) as well such as the Stella Group with Accor Hotels and Sofitel Hotels as part of their properties.
Solo Pak Pty Ltd and Mhar’s Hair Salon were presented with their Certificate of CCIAP Membership. Carl Singson and Gina Luck have signed up as Chamber members on the night. The CCIAP welcomes you both as new members.
A cheque was also presented to Gawad Kalinga for the GK777 project.
Our next First Mondays Networking Night will be held on 5 February 2006 at the usual venue (Café Mindoro, 26 Station Rd, Indooroopilly). Our confirmed sponsor is Mhar’s Hair Salon. Don’t miss this opportunity to expand your contacts and learn.
